Thailand Marathon Information
Welcome to Thailand Marathon information resource page. The purpose of this page is to promote running events in Thailand particularly marathons by providing the information and guidelines of Thai marathons for the people who are interested in to participate marathon in Thailand. Thai Marathoners'd also like to share some experience among runners in order to inspire and encourage people to run a Marathon.

Are you running all the marathons?
I am Tey's friend, looking to run some marathons. I saw you at Sarawak Saberkas but I ran until lost.
Do you have more information on the marathons?
I would like to run 3 or 4 marathon between now and 2 July when I will go to Gold Coast Australia.

Nice to know you, I ran all marathons in Thailand and this year expected to run all marathon in Malaysia.

14 May, Nongkai Marathon, near Laos border
28 May, 60K Ultramarathon in Hatyai (Southern Thailand)
04 June, Klong Tadan Marathon, near by BKK
11 June, Lansaka Marathon, Southern Thailand
18 June, Phuket int'l Marathon, Southern Thailand
In July, I will run Penang Bridge International Run in Malaysia.

Didn't see you at Phuket. I like Phuket. I saw a girl in light blue t shirt like yours and IU asked her if she is you. then she said she from Hongkong. Wrong person. Are you going for Pattaya?
I missed the King's 60k. I like the medal which is emblem of the KING.

Thanks Ai Ling, U came for Phuket Int'l Marathon? I didn't know that, anyway if you take part Pattaya Marathon we see each other but I will run only 10K because I avoid to repeat marathon that I'd run. My next marathon will be Penang Bridge Int'l Marathon.
I also ran Pattaya before in 2002. I like it very much. Now is problem to get from Bankok DOn Muang Airport to Pattaya. I am only one person, may not find people to share a minivan, just like in Phuket. You can email me: tahan92@yahoo.com

How? I want to reach Bangkok airport on 15 July and leave Pattaya 16 July after the marathon for evening flight. This hotel http://www.queenvictoria-inn.com/ five minute walk to start can get for 600B a night. Let me know if we can share taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya and back to Bangkok, then I will start to book the flights. Also, do you reg for the marathon online or you send forms? Online is US$35 and on form it says 500B.

Wah.......That is great if can run in Pattaya..plan long time ago,but this year look slim chance cause of world cup,no training at all and my left knee still not fully recover,right ankle also feel pain.

hi everyone i really hope the organisation of pattaya marathon sorts its self out this year as there was little to smile about last year..ie prize giving ect..and keeping the traffic away from very tired runners..futhermore i feel that more water is needed around the course if its going to be as hot as last year..if it goes wrong this year i will not be running it again if you want to call your race international then produce the goods as the race fee is not cheep.good look guys and please view my comments as an aid to getting it right...

for the commemoration and celebration of our THAILAND BELOVED KING in pattaya marathon2006 on 16/07/2006 cloudy and shiny sunday morning the42.195km. course route and water and aid station were properly managed good in the event but pollutions from many cars made runners feel badly breathing before the last 3 kms. finish line its reduction power and enery of the runners/who can measure the temparature at that time how hottest it was 38 or 39 celcious do reccommend from someone before or after the event in the rainy season thank you please would you mind do my request THE CLIMATE AND WEATHER IN THAILAND all 12 months hot now or not questionnaire
